MGCGT for sale at £11,500
- New gearbox;
- New Clutch;
- New Petrol tank (yet to fit!);
- New Stainless steel exhaust;
- Engine overhaul (Just done approx. 200 miles);
- New leather on the drivers seat;
- New rear fabric quarter panels (by the roof lining at the rear of the car);
- New washer pump, bottle and switch;
- New servo;
- All brakes overhauled;
- New slave cylinder for the clutch;
- New aerial;
- Two new six volt batteries from David Manners (11 months warranty left on them);
- Wheels sandblasted and painted; and
- New Chrome oversill (can be removed to show that nothing is covered up by them.
There are loads of other bits that have been done…just remembered had a brand New 15inch Perelli for the spare!.
The car has never been welded and any inspection is welcome. It has just been recommissioned having sat for 28 years. It has 11 months MOT and the tax (free), expires at the end of May next year. Has not been out in the wet as it stands in a garage.
I am open to offers and would consider a part exchange for something 'interesting' but it would have been be a convertible.

MGB Roadster
MGB Roadster Manufactured in Abingdon 24th January 1977 for export to California, it was then returned to RHD and exported back in June 1998.
The vehicle will come with all MOT’s from 1998, Production Record Trace Certificate Issued by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and certificate of conformity issued in May 2002. There are also many receipts. The body work is all original and in very good condition I suggest due to living 2/3rd of its life in sunny California. Mechanically good O/D works no problem.
It’s currently MOT until 21st September 2010. The seats have been recovered and it’s fitted with a CD Radio. There is a slight tear in the hood but I have ordered a replacement.
This vehicle only needs Taxing and its good for the summer ahead. £3,000ono
