| Sunday 3rd June | Leicestershire Run | Alan Heeley | The Leicestershire run last year was ruined by the
awful weather. A number of people have suggested that
as it would have been so good had the weather been
reasonable, they would like to try again with the same
route. So, by public demand.............
The route is a leisurely drive of about 50 miles,
through some very nice Leicestershire lanes. There
will be a coffee stop en route (again) at Ullesthorpe
Court hotel, who 'Did us proud' last year. The end
destination is Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth. The
Hall itself is interesting, and it has very extensive
riverside grounds for picnicking. The date coincides
with the annual rally of the Lea-Francis Owners Club.
